    Sketchbook Project Challenge

    The sketchbook project http://www.arthousecoop.com/projects/sketchbookproject

I fancy doing something like this but don't want to give up my sketch book, anyone else interested in doing something similar where we post our sketchbook pages on a regular basis? Happy to set up and co-ordinate a group for this. I haven't completely thought this through though, so if anyone is interested I'd be happy to discuss and come up with some guideline!!

I'm already working on my sketchbook for this year - my theme is Along The Line - happy to share my progress if you'd like?

I'm taking part in the actual thing, though, so I'll be sending mine off

Flo, how exciting, would be great for you to share. What about a flickr group for easy photo uploading?

Just read about this on the fat book swap thread, then been googling for images. I like the idea but still not sure how it would work. Do we have to send our books off or just pick a theme then post up pictures of what we do?

but I'm happy to upload to a Flickr pool as well if you like?

Well it is as clear as mud to me right now - Lou could you eleborate a little more as to the nature of the sketchbook - I think the theme thing is confusing me - would you be setting a theme each time for us to follow and what kind of medias would we be able to use??? Sorry - brain addled after an extremely busy short staffed day at work

If you fancy dong this project you'll need to pick a theme, feel free to use the ideas on the Sketch Book Challenge 2012 or pick something else that takes your fancy. You'll also need a sketch book, I suggest the ring bound ones.

I'm going to do some mind maps on the ideas to help pick my theme but 'Come travel with me' appeals

Remember folks its going to be your sketchbook.

Oh right I gotcha now - just found the list of themes on there now

So what kind of things are we expected to do once we've decided on a theme?

Well I guess we need to set some date for posting some of our pages. I'm hoping for it to be a relaxed group and some months some players will feel more inspired than others but I think I'll set a target of 20 pages within 1 year, or whatever target others find achievable.

If anyone has any suggestions please feel free to put them forward.

Would it be a CJ challenge do you think? Or just keep it here under art journals?
