Christy Tomlinson's 'She had Three Hearts' class

Anyone else taking Christy's new online class that started today? It's an art journalling 3 week course with 3 month's access to the classroom. I'm one of the many that took her 'She Art' workshop and loved it so couldn't resist this. Anyone from here with me????

Me, I also did her "She Art". I have one book ready, that I bought ages ago and thinking of altering an old book for " The heart she shares with herself." I sat last night going through some of the Video's and drooling over all the supplies in her shop.

I am . I haven't done the SheArt. I've watched about 7 of the videos.

There's an art journaling thread on here. If you've never looked at it do come over. http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk/boards/...46#post6265946

I'm taking this class. I also took the she art class which i loved. I'm just in the middle of watching the videos now. I feel inspired all ready and i am only half way few the videos. Think i might have to invest in the pan pastels as they look kool.

Yes, I'm in too, and took the She Art course also - not that I created a single thing - but it's lovely to watch!

I loved the way Christy worked with the Pan Pastels but I have so many art materials that I don't think I can afford to invest in those as well.

So pleased there are other UK Scrappers

Strange that this thread got moved, when I took Donna Downey's class last year that thread was under general Scrapping

Haven't got to the pan pastel video yet but I do have a few that I bought at Donna's shop a couple of months ago after seeing her use them. Haven't used them yet though!!!!

Anyone tried the Liquitex acrylic inks? I got hem during the She Art class and love them, they are so vibrant, picked up another couple of colours at my local art shop this afternoon and plan on using them on the She Art canvas I'm doing at the moment.

I want to finish my canvas but also watch the rest of Week 1 videos, so inspired with not enough time!!!

    See you over there.

I am taking the class - I have never seen the Shiva paintsticks or gelatos before and the liquidex inks have been on my wish list for awhile, think my cards have gone into hiding!

I have watched up to the making stamps videos and have enjoyed watching them all. If anyone is near an Ikea they had some great flip flops with patterned bases hubby thought i had lost the plot, they also had some plastic cake decorating stencils that work just as well with sprays or paint.

It's because we are lucky enough to have a dedicated space for art journaling and the course isn't general scrapping.

I have signed up for the Claudine one as well as doing the 3 hearts. Christy's courses only have access for 3 months and then apparently you can buy a further 6 months access. Claudine's course on BPS has lifetime access.

    Does that help?

I'm doing the 3 hearts course too. Haven't had time to watch many vidoeos yet but it looks good. Lots of interesting things I haven't tried yet like pan pastels and the Shiva stiks. I'm looking forward to finding out how to use some new things. easier to decide if it's worth investing when I've seen the videos.

Thanks for the Ikea tip btw

Well, I've waded through the videos. The red colour on my graphics card has packed up so have watched them on the laptop. Then went back through the ones about materials I own and made notes on my desktop computer as I watched the laptop, in between putting gesso on pages. Off to meet up with a friend today who is also doing 3hearts to have a play day. Lots of paint and glue and stencils and ephemera etc

I was torn between signing up for Three Hearts, or having access to the She Art material, and opted for She Art! How long does it normally take for log in details to come through? I signed up this morning and am itching to get going!
