Another Silhouette Question
When I imported a jpg image into Robomaster, the image size was the same as the original. When I open i jpg in Silhouette, the image is huge and I have to rescale it ti bring it to the correct size. What am I doing wrong??

Perhaps you need to find out exactly what size your jpeg is before you open it.
I've just done a test and my jpeg opened in RM waaaaaay smaller than it should have been, but it was the correct size in Studio and Inkscape.

Instead of importing the image, try dropping it into the program to see if that makes a difference.

I get the same results for dropping as importing and open. Studio import/open/drop is definately much bigger than the other programs. I tried different jpg's.

Sorry I can't help. I can't check mine cos my PC is away being fixed and its not on this one. I hope someone can help or you could email Silhouette America and ask them if its a common problem, the may come up with a fix.

Lefthanded--
Yours are very similar to what happens to my images.
Did you ever use Robomaster--I never had this problem with Robomaster.
I like the Silouhette software, so I'm hoping I can figure this out

Hi Debron,
Yes I did use robomaster, still do at times. I use all the programs I listed but tend to use the Silhouette Software more now because it is so good. I don't know why it loads an image bigger than the rest but if i get to the bottom of it I will let you know.

Hey guys, I am having the exact same problem. it looks like it's down to the resolution I save the file in. I save everything in 300dpi and when i do that, the image comes out approx 5 times larger in teh Silhouette software. If I reduce it to approx 60dpi, it comes out around the correct size but not perfect.

With such a low dpi does the trace suffer from the dreaded jaggies or does it not make any difference?
