I saw this little lady on the net and she was just too cute to pass buy and not use, not to everyone's taste but maybe someone can use her. There is a link to the site in the Useful Sites thread.
I also made a paper to match, if you want to use it in Studio using the drag and drop method, you will need to rotate it or it will be upside down.
This card started life as one small shape (one petal) and like Topsy it growed! I have to say I am now very much taken with the studio software, I'd still like to see an "object to path" facility though!
Just waiting for delivery of my cameo - getting a bit excited now!
I designed this card for my cousin's birthday next month. I needed something a bit fiddly to put my cameo through its paces! I used 250 gsm smooth white card and had to use a setting of 6 for the blade before it would cut cleanly. I had to poke a few bits out, but I never mind doing that. I felt no 6 was high for 250 gsm card, it should really be about 3, but a test cut on 3 did not cut through at all. The central mat and text was cut using a double cut with the old robo blade (pressure 25 speed 3) and it cut really well.
I cut this card out using Conqueror Concept 250 gsm on a robo 330 settings pink cap speed 10 thickness 30 set to double cut, and I got a nice clean cut.
Any writing info has been set NOT to cut, and the fold line is set to dash, and it is all grouped, it is grouped in sections so if you wish to do as I did and use a bit of pen, to outline the pattern, on its inside edge, then you will need to set everything else not to cut, IYKWIM
The flower circle was made from one of the flowers in the studio library, the butterfly isn't included because it's a punch.
Edited..... the stand can be made larger or smaller depending on your card size
Couldn't think how to describe this card so Butterfly Edge is the best I could come up with !! I decided to do it as white on white and used 2 of my cuttlebug folders to give some texture. I will put svg and gsd formats on my blog tomorrow if anyone would like them
Plenty of room on this template to add your own topper/decoration. Mine is one I put together using my Craft Artist program so I can't share because of copyright. I thought the stars in the image went well with the stars on the edge of the card. There is another version of the card on my blog using an embossing folder and you can download svg and gsd formats there too.
