    Sizzix Alphabet

    Hi Everyone

I wonder if anyone can help me? I currently have a sizzix big shot and have a set of alphabet dies which have 4 per die. A friend of mine recently let me use her alphabet and she had sets with just one or two letters per die and therefore much larger. Does anyone know any names of these dies so I could try and purchase a set, I have been told they are fairly old?

    Many thanks in advance

There are 100s of alphabets that sizzix have made ... from thin dies to thicker dies ... ask your friend for the name of hers and then check out any of the sponsors on here or put a wanted in the market place forum ...

Also consider how small or big you want the alphas to be and what type of material you want to work in ....

They can be all prices depending on what thickness the die is and how rare, old or new the font is ...

I think your friend has the old sets of 35 sizzlit alphas dies that used to have a lower and upper case letter on each die approx 1½" in height. They had sets of various fonts.
They've stopped making them a few years ago now and the only place I would think you still might be able to find them is on somewhere like e-bay if you're lucky.

We have the http://www.countryviewcrafts.co.uk/t...-sets-64-c.asp reduced from £99.99 to £19.99 - these are the same as the Sizzix Sizzlit Dies

That's just two names of the fonts though. There used to be far more different names at one time. I have six sets of the alphas all with different names.
They were originally called Ellison Thin Cuts.
