There is an Art Journal Useful Links thread already, just not been used for quite some time. Maybe any links could be added in there.

One of the problems with the YouTube videos is that what's great for one person, might be rubbish for another. Well, none of them are really rubbish but you know what I mean.... I think the best option is to experiment, then when you find one you DO like, note who made it and look for other ones by that person. I know some people think Suzi Blu is amazing, but she doesn't do it for me. I agree that Milliande is good.

If you look at some art journaling blogs, some of them have their videos in the blog. Then if you find one, you'll possibly find others. Here's my list of 'check often' blogs:

    A Crafting Journey: Grunge Paper
    anneliesebates.co.uk
Art Journal Caravan - A Journey in Discovery
    Kelly Kilmer Art Journal pages
    Sweet Repeats - Jodi Ohl
    teesha's circus
    The Altered Page
    The Kathryn Wheel
    Tim Holtz
    A Crafty kind of Truffle
    Green Isles Crafts
    Balzer Designs
.journal girl. (celebrating creativity) - Home
    Violette's Creative Juice
    My Crafty Life...
    Rosie's Arty Stuff (our own Rosie's blog..excellent!)

    Hope that helps.

Love the idea of the 30 days of lists on your blog, definitely going to have a go at doing that, maybe a minibook or art journal book not too sure at the moment.

Tracy - Nope , you didn't kill the thread, think everyone is just busy doing other things. I know I am. I've not touched a journal since saturday except to add a quick line to my calendar.

I like the 30 days of lists as well.

Same here in Kent. This morning, DH went to pick up what he thought was a dust ball and it was just a dozy wasp. Luckily he didn't get stung. He needs to wear his glasses more often!

I know. Can't decided if we have a nest in the conifer hedge or there are aphids and the wasps are feeding on the honeydew. We had a nest abandoned in the eaves at the end of the season last year but it was tiny - so failed. Makes me wonder if the queen took up residence in the trees instead, but I keep hearing it's too early for colonies. We have about 60 milling back and forth along the conifers...which are right outside our living room window, and just under my bedroom window, and the keep flying across to the front door. Kids are being given lessons on what not to do!

We had a BIG nest in our loft a few summers back (itís still there, but now thankfully empty)

They were coming and going in their hundreds out of the front of the house right above the front door

We had to use our 2-door porch like an airlock to make sure we didnít get them all in the house! And we didnít dare open any windows.

It was scary Ė but thankfully very swiftly dealt with by the nice exterminator man

we're going to have a mooch in the hedge later when all the activity has stopped, see if we can find either a nest or the aphids. If it's aphids then there will be a swift trip to the garden centre tomorrow, although i'll then feel guilty about any ladybirds, but not sure i can wait for ladybird larvae or another natural killer as it could take weeks. Really pulls at my conscience.
