I'm just getting into this and am already completely HOOKED (my first effort is on my blog here . My inspiration was Kate Crane from The Kathryn Wheel, but I'd love to be in touch with other people exploring this too - am thinking of booking on a workshop in October run by Artist Trading Post. I also understand there's a magazine - is it from Stampington - and would be keen to buy a couple of back issues, just to see if I like it.

And most of all - tell me MORE, ie where to find inspiration, techniques, etc etc. Please share your bookmarks! Did I mention that I'm already addicted??

We've rolled .... wow, what a nice juicy thread this is!

I just finished the art journal entry for our art circle journal (or should that be circle art journal?). Here's a picture of it. It's spread over a folded page to make a double-layout kind of format.

Does anyone have any links for zendoodles or zentangles? I've got to make an entry for an art journal that's black and white (owner's choice) and think the zenthings might be just the deal. But... I need some inspiration.

    Thanks.

I seem to be experimenting more with journals than scrapping at moment - and have just started the journal challenge on uk stampers. Hi dyan nice to see you on this thread. I have just had fun creating a wish list from your shop to leave lying around the house ad have birthday at end of month and thought this would be ideal.

Lucky you Salamanda! I've just spent a whole day in Dyan's shop and have come away with some stencils and spray inks, I am going to have another go at some journal pages, Dyan was really helpful and now I know there's no such thing as a bad journal page. So that will be my new mantra!

Yes, I googled Zentangles and Zendoodles just a little while ago.... it really blew me away! There are videos and lots of how-tos, so now I just need to decided how to proceed.
