To buy or not to buy?
I have seen CraftRobo online and think it looks like a really good idea. I am trying to make some custom table confetti for a friend's wedding and was wondering if this machine would be a good way of cutting out lots different small people-shapes from a piece of paper (there are no punches in the shapes I want). However, reading the forum list it sounds like there is a sticky carrier sheet which I think might make it a pain to peel off lots of small confetti pieces!
Can anyone tell me if this would be a problem and could I use a CraftRobo to do this? Also, are there different types of software you can get for it and which is the best?
Any help would be appreciated!

Welcome to uks.. I would definitely buy one but then I already have one and would Not be without it..
You can cut what you like within reason it does cut small but will only cut up to just under A4 in size.. I am sure it would be perfect for what you are looking for
As for software download Inkscape it's free and the tutorials here are second to None..

Why not see if one of the ladies on here would make something up for you and cut a few for you, if you liked what could be achieved then that may intice you even more to get a fantastic robo.

Hi benmoor, welcome.
I have seen a couple designs for confetti. One of them is for Christmas confetti and the shapes include tiny angels, snowmen, xmas trees, etc.
The shapes are around half an inch in size, so in theory, if the tiny people shapes you want to make are around that size or larger, and are fairly simple in design, then the Craft Robo should be absolutely fine. After that you will find you will have many hours of creative fun to look forward to.
I'm fairly new to cutting myself and still have much to learn, but with regard to your concern about the sticky carrier sheet, I've found that as long as the sheet isn't over sticky** then shapes are fairly easy to remove when the waste left behind after cutting is pulled off.
In the event a few shapes are left behind on the sheet, I've found that scraping the sheet with the side of an old credit card works wonders, though I believe there are specialised tools available to lift shapes.
** 'stickiness' can be reduced placing the carrier sheet sticky side down on onto cotton one or more times.
Hope this helps.
