    Question Colouring RED with promarkers

    Afternoon all

I've been trawling the web for a tut on colouring RED with promarkers... I can sort of manage with all the other colours & have found plenty of tuts using anything BUT red!!!

Now with christmas coming up... a Santa Hat can't be any other colour really can it?!

So can any of you clever peeps point me in the right direction? I'm already a follower of Passion for Promarker blog (however I admit I haven't opened every single one of their workshops so if there's a specific RED one I haven't found it yet...)

I would be sooooo grateful if someone can help

    Thanks in advance

I use one of the warm gray's to shadow Nikki , try 4 or 5 and I usually use either Poppy or Crimson depending how " deep" you want the red. Some of the " red" promarkers are not red at all IMO...........Lipstick red is a bit dark corally.....Maroon is more Plum Cardinal Red is a Pinky Red....I could go on

Put the warm gray on first where you want the shadows then blend the poppy over the top of it.

does it have to be a promarker? I used some really cheap felt tip pens in fact I think one of the red ones was called a bingo marker I scribbled on a piece of acetate then coloured in with a water brush!

    Hi

Can anyone tell me if poppy and ruby be a good blend for Magnolia Tilda Christmas stamps? Or could anyone suggest 3 red Promarkers that would be good for Tilda Santa outfits and Santa hats?

http://promarkernorgeabc.blogspot.co...-fra-grot.html has quite a nice step by step for colouring in with red promarkers. It's in Norwegian but chrome seems to be translating it quite well.
