[QUOTE=hannahk;6145435]wow lots of great stuff ladies.

HeyJude love the star and plans (?? is that what they are ??) embellishments ~ fun idea

Thanks Hannahk. Yes they are planes. There was a discussion a couple of weeks ago about using buttons on layouts, and was determined to try it. My son went to LA, so stars for the "Hollywood" link and planes because a) He had then on a little shirt when he was a baby (aw!) and this was the first time he had ever been on a plane. I was so proud of him because he has Aspergers and two years ago I couldn't even get him out the house on his own, and now he's flying out to USA alone and has a lovely girlfriend to boot! Jude.x

Wow that is so cool ~ what a long way he has come in two years. I love that the buttons mean something really special.

Great pages ladies. I am finally up to date after spending the last week or so catching up with my pages for June onwards, so breathing a big sigh of relief. Here are my pages, bit of a pink theme going on.
    2010 September page 1.jpg 2010 September page 2.jpg 2010 September page 3.jpg 2010 September page 4.jpg

Right, off to print of some photos to start October so I don't get behind again.

Hi ladies, I'm still here and was way behind (last one done in May) on the document 2010. I have spent some of the half term holidays catching up. Done the envelope pages and divided pages but now need to do main pages. Once finished I will post them on here. I'm determined to finish this project.

Just trying to catch up and love all your pages. Jude, the reason behind the buttons on your LO is so special, it made me quite tearful reading it and I've never even met him! He sounds like a wonderful son, you must be very proud of him x

How daft am I??? You just made me cry.... I AM very proud of him, but there is that little part of me that is sad that I have lost him... See! Daft!!! After 23 (well, I guess 20) years of trying to teach him to be independent, it's a very pretty young lady who achieves that, and I miss him!! Oh, he's still living at home, but he no longer needs me..... Taking some getting used to Jude.x

Jude, you're not daft, it's just part of being a mum! My son joined the RAF last year, and left a big hole but I still loved him coming home at weekends, even with all his washing! Now he has a steady girlfriend who lives just across the road, and we only see him when he pops over for a coffee. Like you say, it's lovely that he's getting on with his life, but so hard accepting that you are now surplus to requirements!! Luckily for me, our 12 year old daughter still needs me, although as she's turning into a stroppy teenager I'm not sure the next few years will be ones to relish, either!!

Right, at last I have finished September! Here is a collage of the pages...

I've got all my photos printed for October, so really hoping to get those done this week. Well done to all those who have kept up so far!

Well done Karen. Is that a new car? Loving the colour. And your RAF son? I always find getting the photo's is what has slowed me up each month, so hopefully you'll have October pages soon done? Jude.x

    Hey Jude,
That is indeed my new car/baby!! It's red, my favourite colour, and as it had a red dashboard too, I was smitten and had to buy her!
That is my RAF son too, he graduates from Officer Training on Thursday, so I have had to buy a ballgown and we are sooo excited and proud to be going to watch him....just hope that the further snow that is forecast doesn't stop us getting there. At least my December page will be an easy one to choose!
