One from me - I hand stitched the polka dot buttons onto the felt tree - I must be mad!

    Love those, EM

Your cards are beautiful! Very effective. Did you use PVA to stick the fabric on?

Hi I've been asked to make some christms cards for a local Stroke charity for them to sell. I'm hoping to make at least 50 hopefully 100 but I'm providing all the materials myself so need to keep the costs down.
I wondered if anyone had any ideas of a simple design that would be good enough to sell.I have a big shot & xmas cuttlebug embossing folders & a cricut machine with various carts as well as various xmas stamps but just dont know where to start! It's got to be simple & cheap but appealing too.
Anyone got any ideas? Thanks!! Julia x

Julia ... I would literally put one embellishment on (perhaps on a nested die/punched die), and then stamp Merry christmas underneath it.... voila ! quick and simple !

Yes I used fabric glue that I bought for about £4.50 in John Lewis, but I bought another tube yesterday from Dunelm Mill for 99p and it is just as good!

What a lovely idea, button baubles!
Julia, do you have any packs of Christmas die cuts or stickers? If you do, you could just put a coloured square or paper on your card, top with a die cut or sticker and finish with Merry Christmas stamped underneath maybe?

Hello Scrap. that's a very worthy cause you're taking on. I would take a biggish stamp but leave enough edge to fake one or two borders round it to keep costs down, using stamp ink to make stripes round it, and maybe a roll of wrapping paper for backing???? Don't know if any of those ideas are of any use to you. Good luck. Kiaya

    First time uploading

I hope this works, new to uploading here. I haven't been card-making long, just one year, and adore my new Craft Robo, but here I am just working with a lovely stamp in black and silver. One has a silver cake ribbon on black card and the other just a narrow ribbon. Isn't tying bows hard???
Is there anywhere here I can talk to other Craft Robo users?

Thanks Sharen, hadn't spotted it at the bottom of the page. Won't let me look at stuff yet as I don't have 10 posts to my name - yet! Kiaya

I have moved this in case I shouldn't have posted the photo here since it included a CR template. I used my favourite stamp again with a frame by Silene whhich is beautiful. You can see it in my gallery instead, sorry.
