In yet another stunning example of pregnancy brain, I have just done something incredibly incredibly stupid.

Nettyb, I am so sorry but I have just posted the envelope containing your two ATCs... without putting a stamp on it! Even as my hand was placing the envelope into the postbox, somewhere in the recesses of my brain a little voice was shouting, "No! Wait!!" but it was too late, and even as I realised what I was doing, I let go of the envelope. Argh.

I couldn't even pop into the Post Office to ask what to do about it because it wasn't open yet!

I'll pop back there later this morning and ask them what I can do about it... but it may well be that I'll have to post you some stamps to cover the costs of you being charged the missing postage (assuming the sorting office doesn't just throw it in a bin in exasperation).

Gah. Not a great start to my day.

Poor Ali - maternal dementia strikes again! If it's any consolation, I suffered from it for 25 years, but now I'm blaming the menopause......

Righto. As I couldn't wait by the postbox for the postman to arrive to empty it and throw myself on his mercy to dig out my letter and let me put a stamp on it (this was the best suggestion the lady at the Post Office counter had!!), a card will be put through nettyb's letterbox to say there is a letter with insufficient postage and she'll have to go and collect it (sorry, Jeannette!!) and pay the missing postage!

I will pop some stamps in the post to you today/tomorrow to cover the cost of the missing postage/compensate you for the inconvenience!

Don't worry Ali - I'm always in our sorting office collecting parcels or posting them so its no inconvience . The boys know me in there now

Don;t worry about sending extra stamps - it really doesn't matter

Two gorgeous zentangles arrived today from new2this - thanks F and thanks too for the instructions - when I get a spare couple of hours I will sit and have another go but not promising anything - if it doesn't involve a rubber stamp I don't usually get involved!!!!!! - If I'm happy with the result you'll be the first to know F

I posted to Ali and F today

Got my amazing fishy zents from Francis today - that you I love them. I did attempt a zentangle, but gave up after a very short time as it just looked like a pile of p**! Like netty I'm more of a stamping girl.

Also got my Scottish 'travellers' from Sarah too - thank-you its lovely - I would never have thought of using maps in that way, and spent a few minutes trying to work out 'where' the travellers were from!

....and I received them today, Netty. They are lovely - so simple and yet so effective.

Glad you are at least going to have a go at the Zenty ... but it will not be a disaster if you still don't want to do them .. your stamped ones are gorgeous!!!

Oh phew!! Was beginning to despair at the thought of another one going AWOL!

Nettyb - got your lovely ATCs today. Are you sure you don't want me to send you stamps to cover the missing postage on mine?

No need to panic Ali - your envelope minus its stamps was waiting on my kitchin side this evening when I got in from work - nice postie obviously needs to pay my workplace and visit and get his eyes tested cos he obviously didn't notice no stamp!!!!!

Gorgeous ATCs - love the faded foliage one - very subtle colours - thanks

F - will play zenty at the weekend and will post my result to you no matter how awful it looks!!!!!!!

Glad you both liked my ATCs
