GRA files are totally for Design Master but can be converted into a GSD. There is a tutorial for it using Inkscape. Once you get the hang of it, it is
    easy.
You cannot use a GSD in design master.

I personally like design master better. I also think design master cuts
    faster than robo.
I started with design master and found it much easier to learn than robo.

The design master tutorials will work in design master II. Start there.

Post your questions and I will keep an eye out for them and try and help
    you.

Learning is always frustrating at first but it really is half the fun. Hang in
there and you will get it.

Jackie you should be able to open some GSD files in Design Master or so I was told, try dragging and dropping them on the DM workspace.

If you don't know how to use DM you can either persevere with the help you can get here in the CR Tutorial forums and you can use Inkscape which has lots of tutorials here and is a free program so you won't loose any ££ by trying it.

I've just had a play around and if you drag and drop the files on the workspace in DM they do open, or you can use the menu File >>> Import selected CraftRobo GSD from the drop down list then click the file you want to open and hey presto.

Hi Jackie. I've imported or dragged and dropped GSD files into Designmaster, so some should work like Lucille says, but not all.
