    Hi and welcome.

I got a big bag of mountboard from a local picture framing shop. It was a huge bag of various sizes and it cost £5.00. They just had a few bags by the door and I noticed when I walked past.

Might be worth asking if you have a framing shop nearby. You never know that may even let you have it for free
Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance.

I am using mountboard and cardboard at the moment to do make my journal covers. The mountboard came from a framing shop and a friend got it free for me. I need a lot as I have set myself a challenge to make 101 journals or mini books....... only about 72 to go...

I use paper, fold it in half and glue the edges to make pockets, that way I don't have to add much decoration.

    hi

what do you use to cut your mountboard. Our local framer gave a bag of board which i usually cut with a stanley knife, and I am not always that accurate. wondered if any one had a guilotine that cut mount board.
