    sad Help with Boxes

Can anyone tell me how they seal the corners of boxes when they have made them. I used a template from the robo section and the boxes are great when made up but I cant get them to stay together. I have used large glues dots which i clamped with clips and some with paper clips for over a day but took them off yesterday and now today thay have came apart again . Help needed please.

You need to use a WET glue...

Glue bonds the fibers of the card together,

Or you can use the RED sticky tape which is much stronger than normal tape.

when you say the red tape do you mean the red double sided tape and the red bit is a plastic coating?
    Thanks

Yes, the bit you peel off is bright red, it is extra stick and good for boxes.

Wet glue is the best - paperclip or use bulldog clips and leave for 24 hours

I made some boxes from acetate (for wedding favours) and found the red double sided tape to be perfect.

I like the red double sided tape as it is extra strong and less messy that wet glue. But the wet glue works really well if you clampt the card together for 24 hours or more.

I used red DST for all the favor boxes I made and didn't have any problems. I also tend to use this for boxes for cards that are too 'fat' for envelopes.

I used the red DST on this stationery box project and it is perfectly fine - no opening corners or lifting matting...but I did get through a load of the stuff

If you use glue, get a foam brush and spread it as this as you can, this will help it stick faster I use the Red bottle of Anita's glue.
