I can't believe how easy it is to use.
Now I might be talking rubbish here, ( I sometimes do, ) personally, I think having the knowledge of RM and Inkscape, ( not that I ever got that good at Inkscape) has made it easier to learn the SS software, and of course the knowledge of the robo as well,
Grace I'm getting there, 1 step at a time

You'll probably find that having a knowledge of any of this type of software gives you an advantage over someone who has never done anything like it before - as you already have an understanding of point edit nodes - rectangle tools, copy, paste etc. etc. So, yes, your previous knowledge will be an advantage with the new software - although sometimes it can also be a hindrance if you are used to doing something one way and have to learn a different way now.

I am used to embroidery software, which although a completely different field, still has a lot of similarities, so, again, helps.

    Ooh they're really pretty, Doreen.
As for the H word, it's strictly banned in this house
