    Envelope Albums

I really love making Mini Scrapbooks with envelopes, and have made a few there are two on my blog,

I cut the paper to cover the envelopes and back and front, sometimes i make tag shapes tops and fold them over does anyone else make them this way?

Once the kids are back at school i have seen a great long tall album make from 2 1/2 envelopes per page, and 15 for the whole album, this will be my next project.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_yidA...layer_embedded

anyone else fancy having a go making one?

I know are envelopes are slightly shorter than hers so i am just going to make a tube by cutting some scrapbook paper at 9" by 9"

Which means I will score at 4 1/4, 8 1/2 and just add tape to the 1/2" left to make my own.

Tree did a brilliant one for one of the CC's .... the instructions will be in the Library somewhere.

They turn out great for any size of envelope too!

If you like Laura's minis, do have a look at the Ustream she recorded over the weekend - she walks thru making a cute wavy edged envelope mini and it's very helpful to see her working in real time. http://www.ustream.tv/channel/followingthepapertrail

I have made mine and did use the DL size envelopes, found all I needed to do was to cut 3 envelopes at different sizes to make it work.

I did instructions on my blog, but not sure if I explained it OK.

However I did like making them so much I am making my third.

I just had a look at your site...its lovely!! I love the thought of being able to buy smaller amounts of lots and lots of different colours. I have bought bigger packs in the past which were good value but I have lots of about 4 colour schemes and it can be very limiting. I shall be back for some stash soon!
