What a fab class Shimelle! I am always inspired by your work.
I have an old poly wallet full of receipts, labels, pics and drawings from my children! No envelope, so that needs sorting! I will try to sit down and sort it all and get going on this, but I am still trying to finish JYC!!!
Can't wait to see everyone's pages, who'll be first! It won't be me!!

Kathy -- I definitely didn't use that little black envelope throughout the month. I used a recycled bubble envelope and just changed it out for this month. I think the recycled packaging will appear one month too.

You can download this PDF for everything in an easy format, but here's the basic premise for each month:
one page with your envelope and assorted other bits of news forms a collection page to start (i included some news headlines to give this a bit of a timeline...you might like or dislike that idea!)
one divided page protector, front and back, with a mix of photos and bits and pieces from real life -- some of the stuff you had in your envelope.
one page with a specific focus to that month (mine was the oddity of this out of character weather we've had)

my pages look like this at the moment:

    (continued in next post)

I wasn't sure about this project but I may join, although I haven't saved any bits & pieces from Jan...

I guess it's OK if I make my version; I'm just feeling like using the divided pages and not the other two. If I need more pages for a given month, I'll just add more divided ones.

    I'll see what I'll do...

Fantastic pages Shimelle I'm doing this along with my Sister and Mom. We have all been collecting all month and hopefully will give each other lots of inpiration to create pages that are as lovley as yours... at the start of the month I was given a gift box from Benefit(only the box) which I used for storing all of my bits, it sits so pretty on the side do I use it this month or keep it to the end and do something with it then. Any ideas????

I completed my pages today, and although I am playing along I'm using a 5x5 minibook for the year.

welcome Nano -I'm certain you will love your time here.

I'm another one who is going to have do something about an envelope (I used a plastic wallet to collect) and will also need to get an album as I've not found one yet - though I have got my page dividers. Looking forward to do this one. thanks Shimelle

    January pages

I was lucky enough for my day off to fall today and I was determined to complete my January page while all the memories were still fresh!!
I haven't followed Shimelle's format. I do have 12 photos from the month on display but they are printed on a 6X4 sheet.
    Hope you like it.

    Shimelle

What if I have memorabilia that is larger than 12x12? Also, I have an information booklet about 100 pages that I received as part of my Olympic ticket package. How do I store these? Ideas?
