Many thanks Lucille, have downloaded it, will get round to installing it at the weekend when I have more time to play around.

PS: Have now got used to cutting from Inkscape, it is so much better than saving as DXF then cutting in RM, no nodes and juddering to worry about. Anyone not tried this yet, you don't know what you are missing. Try Lucille's tutorial now!

I created a file as a dxf and when I tried to import it I got the error message "no valid data" Never had this problem with previous version

Check the following

Has the stroke got a colour and a weight
Is anything grouped.
Did you give the black python window time to open and close

Now I am having trouble cutting from Inkscape although I have followed the instructions in the tutorials.

did you cut from the .46 version and what problem are you having?

I have not cut from Inkscape before - I follow all of the instructions and press Cut when the little Craft ROBO "Ready to Cut" button comes up and nothing happens.

The big mistake everyone kept making when I found how to cut was the colour of the cut line it is crucial to cutting.

Yes, it was not exactly correct. I think it would help me to set up a page in Inkscape that is the exact size of the ROBO cutting area. That way I will be able to better place my image for cutting.
