Jenni, is it you who has the melting pot? Do you love it - lots of accessories to have with it - would you recommend it?

I love the melting pot. There are so many different things one can do with it and if you are interested go on You Tube and search under Ranger meltpot or Suze Weinberg to see the many different things one can do with the various products. Look here

    http://www.youtube.com/results?searc...rch_type=&aq=f

Have a good look and see if it suits you. The meltpot gets very hot so you need a safe place to work. It takes a long while to cool.

    Hi there
Am interested in joining in the trail. Can I ask a few questions:
    1. do you need to tailor the ATCs to the person you are sending to or does anything go?
    2. What is the turn arounnd time for the swap - just checking if I should make the ATCs before I put my name down.
    Can't wait to join in

Pretty much anything goes when it comes to the ATCs. Some people have dislikes that they will let you know about (Gilly and buttons springs to mind) but mostly we are all just happy to receive a piece of your art.
There is no set time frame for the swap either. some people like to have the ATCs ready to send straight away but as long as they are sent within a reasonable time frame or if there's a problem you let people know then that's generally ok. The only condition is that you have posted the ATCS before you sign up again.

    Hope that helps

Just to add glad you liked the ATC Jenni, I received yours today and first of all thought that the front of the card was the ATC

Welcome to our thread and I can say without any revervation that you are very happy to welcome you to join in.

    Answer
    1. Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't ask the receiver if they have special likes and dislikes. I did once find someone who didn't like clowns and Cantstopstampin prefers not to have buttons on her ATC's.

    2. As fast as you like. I usually post a day or so after jumping into the swap and other days when I am very organised may even post on the same day. It's up to you. Most people post within a couple of days.

I often put something the dimensions of an ATC as a card topper when I post out. You are very welcome to embellish the card topper and make it into an ATC. I know some of the ladies on here do that, its part of their recycling thing.
I was playing about with fabric again.

Thanks for the replies. I think I'll make my ATCs before signing up just in case I go into labour early as I wouldn't want to let anyone down! I can always adjust the designs slightly to account for any dislikes etc.
Will have fun in the next few days.
