Since I have started adding mine to it, my sales have gone through the roof - unfortunately not enough to give up work though.

So I have been spending most of my time on the puter emailing out patterns to the purchasers and adding more patterns to the database. That doesn't leave much time for chatting but just wanted you all to know I am still around.
Great news Helen, if I ever manage to learn how to crochet I'll have to have a look, my fingers do not seem to want to work when it involves wool
Please be patient the kids have taken my marbles here is my blog

That's great news and I forgot to say on the thread, thanks for the luvverly leaf. I have posted you something today which I hope raises a chuckle or just a smile.

Like Helen, I have found a new diversion - sewing. I do promise to to use the offcuts for ATC's though so watch this space.

Crochet is easy. Go to You Tube and look for a demo that suits. Lean how to make a chain stitch first, then single crochet stitch. Things build from there. If you really can't then why not try the dangerous world of needle felting. Dangerous because if you stab you finger its quite painful. Needle felting, like crochet, needs very little equipment and can be done on your lap. Make some needle felted ATC's.

Sorry, didn't mean to step on Helen's toes. It's important to know how to read patterns and know the terminology otherwise you'll land up crocheting like me with a magnifying glass and working by numbers.

Not bothered about toes, its just that if you learn US terms then buy a pattern in the UK, you can't read it. Its best to learn the UK terms and then learn to translate to US.

Well I have had my first ATC off Pennyk - and THANK YOU PENNYK - it is lovely. Love how you've glittered (very gently) the stamped image - is that a glittery embossing powder - IF SO - I think I must get some of that, it's LOVELY.

We need to get some new ATCers on the thread to swap with. Shall we run a recruitment drive?

    What a good idea Dee.

Do you want to advertise somewhere? Gilly usually goes to the swap discussion thread and reminds people that we are around. I'll leave it to you since it was your good idea. http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk/boards/...=274921&page=7

I mixed some very fine cystal glitter by mistake into my embossing powder. I love the effect- very vintage looking dont ya think? Glad you like it.
Come over to my bloggy patch
