Well as mentioned in the main chat Ive had access to the template section this week. Ive made up a few cards that are in my gallery - nothing too fancy as still need to get a new blade for my machine so cant cut anything intricate at the moment. Ive made a 4th bday card, baby book and valentine card. I must say all the templates are fab and I am officially in love with my new toy!
This is a variation on my previous scalloped topper - I've added ribbon slots and some shapes to this one. I am quite pleased with the end result. You can see the card in my gallery. I shall put the template on once I've converted it.
I'm even newer than a newbie as my machine is on order and hasd not arrived yet. i'm getting excited, seeing all the great things you girls on here are making...
i can see I'm going to need lots more card stock in my stash! do you use mainly bazzil? or perhaps you can suggest what will be best for me to learn on!
Hello All - I have just made a nice card for my pal's birthday next weekend and would like to credit the originator of the template. It was Ruthan and her template is under "shaped cards". I didn't want to do a direct copy, so have decorated with peeloffs I have had in my stash for far too long anyway. I have used the oriental style backing on the insert (yes, I adapted the template to make that too) as well as the tag (because I forgot to print the sentiment on before I cut!!) and envelope - so it all co-ordinates. I have put a picture in my Members Album
