I've decided to leave a few days - I've got a sprained wrist - can't do any reflexology and driving is real painful - and don't know what I did !

Feeling pretty rough tonight with it - it's the kind of pain which makes you feel sick.
Hope you are feeling better. Big ((((hugs))))

tee hee She and the chewed cord. We used to keep rats (many years ago when the kids were young ).

We used to have these rats out to run around the lounge for exercise etc, but one day the TV wouldn't work....................they had knawed through the cable, then we found the speakers to the hi fi had both been chewed through and they'd chewed the back of my sofa !!!

HOPE you are ALL well peeps. Sending Pennyk's when I have your address - and thank you loralee for your addy will post tomorrow - and hope for the best.

Have a lovely Sunday ! I've got my crop (if you can call it that) I teach a class (if you can call it that) to my two or three mates who come and my DS's GF today is coming - I have converted her to an avid scrapper already.

My houserabbit has done that, ruined the sofa and plenty of cables.

I recieved Sarah's ATC yesterday, its gorgeous I love Vintage stuff. My ATCs have been ready to post out all week but school got manic and then I got sick so haven't made it to the postoffice yet. They'll be posted tomorrow. Sorry.

Can I ask a question please?
I've just bought one of those 7 Gypsies display things and want to make some ATC's to fill them. What kind of card should I use to make the ATC's will Bazill do or should it be something different?
Thanks this will be my first attempt at ATC's

You can use any card or acetate to make ATC's - don't you have to have 'the tabs' on though for the 7 gypsey's? - or do you mean to attach to the tabbed card? IYKWIM.

IF you are making the tabbed ATC's then you'd need decent card stuck back to back to give it more stability - I would have thought. Always wanted one of those rotary 7 Gypsey carousels - but they're pretty expensive - although delicious !

Let us see when you've filled it?

    Thanks.

No the thing i've bought looks like a frame divided into 12 (where the picture would go) if that makes sense and you put one ATC in each 'hole' and it can be hung on a wall.

I used Bazill and did some Holtz style inking on the backgrounds but the cards are all warped so I wondered what the experts (you lot ) use.

    thanks for the reply

I wouldn't say I was an expert but I always use Mountboard for my ATCs as it doesn't warp and takes the inks - and whatever else I throw on it really well! I do a lot of embossing as well and it stands up to anything

I wouldn't call myself an expert but I use white card 380gsm bought from a local printer. He cuts the card to the required 64mm x89mm for me to use as ATC's. The card is fine to use on its own but invariably I use two or three cards to make each ATC. Mountboard is overkill for ATC's IMO and much more expensive. In my collection of four hundred plus ATC's not one is made from mountboard.

It's taken over a year of dedicated making and swapping. I consider my collection quite small.

I know how you feel Fiona. I had about 54 when I said that I had a sizeable collection until some people came on and told me they had 200 - 300 - 400 + ATC's !!

I probably have about 100 now - I love looking through them - my DD does too - although she's not into scrapping (she's 18) occasionally she'll look through my ATC's and LO's etc.

    ONWARDS ...................
    ATC's - ATC's - ATC's - ATC's - ATC's

I love it when the kids get involved - DD3 (aged 10) loves my magnolias and has asked for her own and some whispers pens for Xmas and DD4 (aged 9) has asked for a sewing box with cross stitch stuff in!!! 2 x DD's and DGD (aged 18 months!!) are all on the living floor doing a coloring competition for a local toy shop - what more incentive is needed than a £100 voucher!!!!

Hope you've got a camera to hand Fiona - sounds like something that needs scrapping! Hope one of them win the Toy voucher!
