Is anyone else as disappointed as I am I have just picked up my copy from the local newsagent (who incidentally has had a very frustrating time trying to get the last two months copies ) the quality of the paper in the magazine is dreadful no better than a cheap paper or magazine definitely not worth the money you pay for it - the american copy was such a lush high quality magazine and I really thought great when it was going to be published over here - my other gripe is why change such a lovely mag to put the english bits in at the front which don't match up to the rest of the mag and the bit about scrapbooking in the back quite frankly anyone who is prepared to pay that much for the mag most likely knows what scrapbooking is and is looking to take their skills to a higher level and doesn't need the basics !
I am seriously reconsidering buying the english version

I prefer the UK paper - feels more environmentally friendly to me

And there's one heck of difference in price - there's no way I could afford the US version (even without the International postage, and issues over International customer services)

Must admit, I'm not sure what the 'back' bit is, but I don't actually "read" the magazine - it's one to look through for inspiration in the LOs for me

Well I'm totally brassed off with this magazine now...my local WHSmith order it in especially for me, last month I missed ST because of the trouble with printers and WHSmith were not getting any in and this month, well...

ST is late, in tomorrow but they have no idea where my CT is or even if its going to turn up for this month...talk about a total cock-up. I have to ring tomorrow with the bar code off the back so they can trace it...apparently they have ordered it but its not been delivered by RedLine Publications as its a special order just for me cos my local WHSmith have now actually stopped selling either mags off the shelves

For £5.99 I do expect a slightly better service from the Publishers than this...can't believe its WHSmith as they have been putting magazines aside for people for donkeys years

And it was all going so well...if it ain't broke you shouldn't try to fix it

Just looked baack at the last tow issues I have and noticed that this "guide" to scrapbooking is the same in both! is this just a filler do you think? seems like a waste of four pages to me. also the mag is getting thinner and thinner each month!!! I got mail today but no sub copy! not sure if i will re-sub again.

Cheryl the paper this month is different from last month definitely thinner and really hasn't got a nice feel to it

Claire it was in WHS In Welington Telford today seems odd its in one and not another !

No sub copy of Bead Trends either which I think comes out the same time as the other 2....

Does this mean it will be out in the shops before we get our sub copies....?
