hi, Great ideas TFS!!! Haven't seen this idea mentioned, I made a few Father Christmas kits last year for kids. They contained magic reindeer dust to sprinkle outside the door, a carrot for the reindeer, a cookie for father christmas and a thank-you note. THESE were made in a hurry last year so hope to do a better job this year.

In search of packets of single colour sweets!

i now have almost 50 test tubes..and would love to fill some with red and green sweets..any suggestions as to what to use or /and where to buy them from?

Over here they make M&Ms in Christmas colours. I'm not sure if you could get them over there. I could send you some! I think they make mini ones too if I remember correctly. . . .

Thanks wingus..I doubt theywould arrive in time or the postie would scoff the lot!!

ive found a site that sells jelly beans by the colour so thoguht Id opt for some red and some green ones!!I think I shall have to buy a packet from supermarket first to check they fit in the test tubes!!

And shall be using some tictacs too for spare snow balls!

I used this recipe but added more spices, the quantities fitted just right with a bit for pushing down
