Wow there are some great minibooks here. I love making them and am just contemplating my next one so this is a great thread for inspiration. I particularly love Tigerlady's Walk on the Wild Side and Don't Quote Me (very cute and funny), and the envelope minibook by Misteejay, although they're all great.

I've done only a few, and my favourite so far is here. I loved doing it and making all the hidden sections, pockets and tags and things. I wanted it to be full of surprises.

Then I went completely the other way and did this - very clean and simple minibook to celebrate my DD's first 16 years, which I gave her on her birthday.

Thanks - I will have to see if I have any envelopes that size hanging about, but today is all about dollmaking, I'm afraid

Maddie is home now but on Monday she will be at a play scheme all week then the next week at music camp (that one is residential) so I decided no min-books this weekend. Dad and Jack are at Cropredy (the Fairport Convention folk-y music festival, probably Morris dancing as we speak LOL!) so it's a Girls weekend.

I will try to manage to PBB during the week next week and post the instructions but it's actually really simple. Even if I don't finish it I can possibly take a few photos that will help you see how it goes together.

Now I need to pop out to the store for a jointing needle (?) a sculpting needle (?) and some one inch wooden balls...

    I love making mini-books. Here's one I posted on my blog recently - http://obstinatepursuit.blogspot.com...ini-album.html

It's made entirely from scrap - the covers were made from a cereal box, covered with wallpaper and the insides were made with photographs, free postcards, magazine pages and scrap fabric. It's a little different!

I got a hand-written one for each of them at a crop. If you'd like, I can pm you with it scanned.
