I've just posted off a big batch of ATCs including all my trail ones to Enfys, Pinkster, Loralee, and Mother Duck. I was being a bit lazy and saving myself several trips to the post box, as everyone's but Mother Duck's has been done since last weekend. What was once a trivial trip can sometimes be a major expedition now - well not quite - but it often feels like it! So my apologies for the delay.

And my thanks to Pinkster for her novel Fused Fibres and Enfys for my big black R - both if which arrived this morning! I love getting different and unusual swaps, as they make me think about different techniques and styles.

Finally posted ATCS off to Tigs and Newedition this morning. Took them out with me yesterday waked past at least two postboxes and brought them home again.
May jump in again quickly as ATCs make a nice change from all the other stuff I've got to get ready for next weekend.

I have received my swap from Megbaby ( Beth ) - a beaded fairy - it is lovely. THANK YOU.

Will upload a pic later as no batteries in camera and can't seem to find the ones I bought in my shopping this morning (hope I haven't left them behind on the checkout!).

There is me thinking it was quiet around here and we had rolled over and I had missed it! Serves me right for not posting earlier about having recieved two lovely ones from Jenni and Pippa. I also have Pippas in my bag ready to post and am currently in Ely Library. My DS spends forever choosing his books so I jump on here for 5 mins.

Thanks for doing the one for Jean, Gilly. Jenni is also doing one for her.

And, as my post about this was the very last one on the old thread, I hope you don't mind me posting again about it.........

And I have a favour to ask you all. I work at a residential home for the elderly, some with dementia and alzheimers. I have been making ATCs with one of the ladys. They are very basic and simple. Would anybody like to trade with her? If you pm me I will give you her address and if you can enclose your address in with the ATC, she can send one back. Thank you!

Going to jump back in as soon as somebody I haven't traded with posts. Unless Jenni wants the Y?

I received an ATC from Poet Crafty this morning, a little bumped and bruised by royal mail though. It was in one of those 'we're very sorry we damaged your post' bags.
The little lady had been knocked off the card but have fixed it all now with some diamond glaze!

I think it have have been a little too bumpy, maybe next time just wrap a bit of kitchen roll around it to smooth it out a little,

I always try to send mine in a bubble type envelope, and I also save bits of bubble wrap for when I need to use an ordinary one. I've had a number of ATCs arrive with knocked off, damaged and broken bits over the years, so I try to ensure my ATCs don't end up the same way. All our ATCs are (hopefully) unique little pieces of art, so I think we need to send them on their way with a little TLC.

    Rosemary

PS I've just been into the kitchen and found my two for the price of one swap from Loralee - all bright and summery - many thanks!

the only problem sending with bubble wrap around is that they are then thicker and will be classed as a 'large' letter stamp?

Yes - but I find bumpy (or even most of my ) embellishments can make this the case anyway!!
