I can get it to do a test cut so the problem with mine is somewhere after I close the controller.

I only tried to cut a square and then tried 2 circles welded together not a specific file Lucille. I did do object to path for the square first

Well, I sent a file to Lucille last night that I'd been trying to cut from Inkscape and she managed to cut it. So this morning I opened up Inkscape and the tut and had them side by side. Don't know what I did differently but it has just cut from Inkscape. Happy bunny this morning. Thank you Lucille.

Give it another go Doreen and follow the tut to the letter, you CAN do it.

I've tried it 5 times this morning with 0.47 and 0.46 but it just won't cut.
One question though are you cutting it before or after it's been saved as a dxf or are you cutting after it's been saved as an svg?

I cut either from not having saved at all or SVG. As Inkscape won't open a DXF files I would say trying to cut after you have saved as DXF might not work, but I could be wrong.

I've just had a go, but it took some fiddling with settings! For me it seems to be a matter of setting the right colour. Once I got this sorted, I was able to cut OK. I've cut a modified dingbat, a letter, and a circle.

I'm using XP, CC330, and Inkscape 0.46, build date 1st April(!!) 2006. I can't use later versions of Inkscape as they won't recognise my Graphics tablet.

I've also had an attempt with the Pro, and although it offers some setting options, it doesn't bring up the the controller. But the software isn't as up to date as with the little machine.
