    Arrow A New Inkscape Pictorial

A new Inkscape pictorial has been added to the tutorial section for cutting directly to CR.

I've also tested it and it cuts from .46 as well. Here is my set up in case that makes a difference

    WinXP
    RM - 5.1
    Inkscape - .46 and .47
    CR - CC100

I have tried it out and it is very very easy to follow, thank you so much Lucille, that was what I hated about inkscape to RM files, they cut so slow, but this way is lovely and smooth, just a pity they cannot be shared, unless converted to GSD.
Grace I'm getting there, 1 step at a time

Thank you for trying out, I've been cutting since last night with it, so far so good, just cut the card I'll leave the insert until tomorrow.

A couple of things that might help. What are you trying to cut, if it is unwelded text or dingbats perhaps you need to convert to path first, and if it is something really small like a letter from the alphabet is it inside the cut area.

I haven't had a play with that yet and tried to refine where the cut area is except it cuts where it is on the screen, unless I assume you are out of the cut area.

Doreen if it is doing a test cut you should be able to cut, so it might be your settings are not quite right or it doesn't recognise you design as vector.

Just tried a very simple shape, when I went into controller the blade housing jiggled as it usually does, went to try to cut and nothing I'm afraid.
