    Exploding Boxes

well, been fighting with this since this morning...ran out of red paper ( well I know I should of used white as a tryout first... Duh!) also not got any pretty papers yet to cover flaps but I hope you get the idea... I quite fancy a blue one with snowflakes on it - I am making one hopefully with felt sewen on the flaps because I collect Etui,s :-)

well here they are - I have done each flap with a tab so you have to glue it to the square, then glue that to the precideding set - hope you get it .would love to see some done.

    Flip Open/Exploding Box

Evening all well it got the better of me i decided i would have ago as well dont know when i will use it apart from making it for my little girl to decorate but anyway. I decided against the windings font i drew it all in robomaster.

This is obviously smaller than the one posted earlier as my layers are made from A4 so restricted to the width which I have used nearly all of.

Not got time to cut it now will probably try it out tomorrow but it looks ok.

I only made the 2 inside layers about 2mm smaller than each other as the box will only be small to start with and there would not be alot left to decorate.

Anyway if anyone tries it out before me can you let me know if it works or not.

    Exploding Box

Seeing as I've been on my own all day I thought I'd give these exploding boxes a go and its also OH's Niece's birthday soon, she's disabled so she'd love one of these.

Is not a fantastic one, but as a gift/card, its still 'work in progress'.

The template works and there is a lid too. I've also attached the Print and Cut for the Butterflies. I've had to delete a row of Butterflies from the Print and cut and Zip it as it was too large to upload.

    Pyramid box

I saw a similar box on a web site and thought I could make my own.
A box where the sides are held together by a paper collar and a stick.

    Another pyramid box

It's made just like the other one but with six sides this time.
Can I call it a pyramid box then? A pyramid has only four sides!
