    Easter gift ideas for kids

    Hi there

Each year I am charged with providing Easter gifts for 16 girls - I guess I could just go to the supermarket, however ....

Last year we made each one a basket (used the Expression), decorated with blooms and filled with little chocolate eggs ....took ages but looked fab and they loved them.

So, what to do this year?? Ideas please from all you fabulous folk who will have finished with your Easter stuff by now and be thinking about Summer hols no doubt - yes, I know, I'm so last minute .....

Many thanks for anyone kind enough to offer ideas x

    how are you at knitting???

I made little knitted chicks, yellow wool (obviously lol) added googly eyes and an orange felt beak. The eggs the size of cream eggs fit perfectly inside, very cute.

I will post a pic later, but have to dash to school now.

I'm doing plastic test tubes filled with mini eggs and then a decorated tag (test tubes quite cheap on the auction site), not my idea I've seen them on a few different blogs.

Just need to make sure the tubes are wide enough to take the eggs (Cadbury's mini eggs or similar) or if not then pastel coloured jelly beans or other small sweets. There were quite a few blogs around Christmas time with different variations, I'll see if I can find some links.
