    'bracket' shaped cardstock

Im a newbie (ish) & i see lots of wonderful LO's on the galleries but Im a bit stumped as to how some LOs are on shaped cs. Sometimes see half this 'bracket' shape used as backing for photo. Is there a template available?
    Any help gratefully recieved!!

I'm sure someone will have the answer. Could you link to an example?

You can buy shaped cardstock, or draw a shaped edge and cut it yourself. There are also some shaped journalling tags (eg by Making Memories) which might be what you have seen?

Some is precut in this shape. You can cut it freehand, or use a template like this one from a sponsor - they have loads of other shapes too.

Someone suggested recently printing off the bracket shape on the keyboard....just to the right of the 'P'. You can set that at the size you want it then.

I have used bought die cut cardstock as a template for a couple of LOs recently, just draw round it then cut it out. Take a look at this one, and this one for examples.
I do like the idea of the template though, i could finally use my die cut cardstock, instead of just drawing round it!

But if you have a Cricut machine and SCAL ....... you can cut these yourself can't you.
