    oh well Brush marker bothers

I'm at a complete loss of how to solve this problem
I'm having a bit of bother with my rubber stamping markers, and I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me out.

These things work fine on my mounted rubber stamps.
Unfortunately when I apply these to my unmounted rubber stamps.......

They don't work as well, the ink shrinks on the stamp as soon as I apply it, (and these are suppose to be slow drying ) it ruins the image/ text of the stamp.

The un mounted stamps I've got are little pictures, and need different colours for the card I'm working on to highlight the details.

Strangely I don't have this issue when using the unmounted stamps with my ink pads, they work just fine.

I'm a little confused, do I need to do something to the unmounted stamps before applying the marker pens?

Please does anyone know of a way I could solve this little dilemma?

I've noticed that too! It's also difficult to get a strong image with certain ink pads, namely chalk ink, I've found.

Sorry I haven't turned up with an answer, I'll be watching this thread, tho!
