    Drawplus

Does anyone use Drawplus? Somewhere I think I read that you could cut straight from there, but I couldn't seem to make it work. Instead I have been exporting pictures as DFX files and opening them in Robo Master, but sometimes the DFX files seem to take a long time to open.

I've no experience of it myself, most of us use Inkscape which is free and you can cut directly to your CR and we have plenty of tutorials to help learn the program.

I use drawplusX3, and love it. I also export as dxf, and dont seem to have any trouble with loading. I haven't tried to cut from it yet, but will have a go.
I'm thinking of upgrading, so may write to serif to see if there is any chance, or post a question on the website forum

Loading DXF shouldn't be a problem, but so far all DXF files with curves usually take forever and a day to cut, which is why everyone was excited to find we can cut directly from Inkscape and the designs cut quickly and smoothly.

how can I view attachments on win 7?

Hubby got new laptop (wish it was mine)
Anyway.......while I was setting it up for him, I obviously had to test it for him
So where better than here, so MY QUESTION IS....... before on XP if there was an image/screen shot, I just clicked on it and I got a lovely big picture....... but it is not the same on Win 7, I seem to have to open it in another tab, and it is no bigger, than what was originally on the screen, is this the way it is with Win 7 or am I not doing something right
    in advance
    Grace
PS unfortunately I am not allowed to download any craft stuff inkscape/robo
Grace I'm getting there, 1 step at a time

thanks for replying so quick Doreen, not the wrong end of the stick exactly, but.... it is just for viewing photos on threads, for example, a template is uploaded and as I have no robo software loaded I can only view it via the picture that accompanies the GSD file, IYKWIM

nothing happens when I click on the picture, I have to right click and then select from a list, and the only one I think that is appropriate is open in new tab.
I'm back on my own now, as I have used up all his battery, just as well he is having a lie in, he was at his brothers 50th party, so he is none the wiser, he he!!
