Does anyone know where I can get any lessons in the Launceston Cornwall area.. Many thanks to those who answered my thread re getting my robo connected and I have now succeeded. Problem is now I have it up and working can't figure out what to do next.. I have done the obligatory baby card . but where do I go from here. Seems I'm not as PC literate as I thought. How do you lovely people do such amazing stuff I wanna do it too

The best place to start is with this tutorial http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk/boards/...d.php?t=222947 then look in this thread for a list of tutorials to get you started http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk/boards/...d.php?t=246718.

As you work through the tutorials any problems or questions you can post here or in the Newbie software/challenge thread.

If you haven't got a copy of the Newbie pack, click on the link under my signature, there is a lot information for finding your way around UKS and how to's...

I'm afraid so, there's no short cuts, but it will be worth it in the end.

Hi there, as Lucille says there is no way to shortcut the learning curve.

I am new to the CR and the best thing that you can do is read and play with the tutorials, use some freebie GSD files and do some cutting. The tutorials are really good for finding your way around the software. I find the most difficult thing is finding the settings to use on different card stock so it cuts first time, so I have been playing with a lot of scraps to test before cutting.

And, of course, you have a world of people on here to help with your problems

My CR seems to have taken over my life!...... Well, until our new grandchild arrives in December!
