I'm having a few problems! I found it easy to do the star like in the tutorial and i had a go at lettering and can do that as well but i'm trying to make a butterfly card at the mo using the same idea but its not working
I've tried in robomaster and the issue i'm getting there is that I cant flood fill my butterfly and i've tried using design master and the issue I have there is that i cant seem to get an outline of my butterfly, it just outlines around the edge I'm so confussed, here are some screen shots, might help explain what I mean.
The butterfly traces perfectly in robomaster.

Have you filled the butterfly with a different colour so it will 'weld out'?

Had a go at this months challenge, and have cut this very quickly. It needs a bit of tweaking, but the general idea is there I think! Thank you for all the inspiration, and the classes, it is making me think outside of the box so to speak!

The font is my new favourite Baby Kruffy by the way!

can't what? Isn't your mojo working don't worry everyone has times like that.

Just play and try different dingbats/fonts try and recreate what someone else has made and if goes wrong you will still have learnt something, even if it is OMG!! I won't use that font/dingbat again.

When you say 'flood fill' do you mean when you click on the fill button the butterfly isn't filled?

From looking at your picture it looks as if you COULD have 1 butterfly without a fill on top of another butterfly with a fill, try selecting the 1 without the fill and dragging it away to see if I am right, that would also explain why you think you can't outline.

OK has the butterfly got outer and an inner trace lines? Did you fill the image before tracing it?

i'm gonna try and explain a bit better from the top.
I opened robomaster, drew the rectangle then copied and pasted the butterfly from another open gsd file. I selected the fill option, the same as I did on the rectangle and nothing happened, so i thought i would try it on design master. But of course, you cant open gsd files on designmaster. So I imported the .jpg file that the butterfly was created from in the first place and I was going to trace it again in designmaster but instead of it tracing the butterfly outline, it just put a square around it.

Sue what a very clever idea for using this technique, and what a fantastic card you've made. Well done!
