I've had a go by just using the stars like in the tutorial.
I think the reason I've not got more adventurous this time is because I cant really think of what I would use it for, I can see the point in welding words to join them to a card or whatever but i cant really see the point in this. Wouldn't i just end up with 3 stars and a piece of card with bits missing? it just seems like a long winded way to go about cutting 3 stars. someone put me straight and tell me what its all about!

Lucille, I can't open the blooming things either. #When I tried to open the one I uploaded just to see if it worked I got that window that says I need to search the internet for the programme that made it!! I think this has happened since I updated the software, not sure about that. Will try and upload a picture, I thought I had, but there you go, as I said, two steps forward three back

This tutorial doesn't make a card only shows the technique. If you were making a card you would make a bigger rectangle 'card sized' cut the spare stars in different card or paper and stick them where the holes are on the inside of the card along the edge so that they show through the holes, have a look at what the ladies did when we last did this tutorial here

You need to assign the file format to the Design Master program check the tutorial section I did a mini tut of how to do that, if it doesn't work there is another way, just let us know if you need more help.

I did make it card size Lucille, but when I saved it I resized it because I thought if it was too big it would be rejected. I have your tutorials printed off and found the one to upload a file and a picture. The stars were separate pieces, at least they would have been if I cut them. The tree was three triangles welded to make the tree and the stars put in afterwards.

Went and saw Mama Mia this afternoon, still singing Abba songs, lol.
