    Using your Scrapbook Debris

Here are three bits with ideas for using your debris in interesting ways.

First, using the waste film from Say It With Crystals gem sprays to create your own custom version with different materials.

Next, using your waste chipboard surround as a sponge-through template for embossing ink and powder.

There are obviously 10s of additional things you can do with these leftover bits. It would be great if people could add their own ideas here - or any other great ideas they might have for other scrap trash.

Apologies for any typos. Please don't sic the typing police on me. I still have microbeads stuck in my keyboard from a long ago spill ... never, NEVER get microbeads (or glitter, or shaved ice, or embossing powder) anywhere near your keyboard. You will regret it.

these are great tips - thank you. I did a class at Scrap a ganza and CD Muckosky does great things with very little, making templates, using cardstock alphas as templates to draw around, then re-using them again and again.

She also uses making tape - painted to make great journalling strips!

    Making Chipboard Buttons from Scraps

I love making use of scrap bits, I've been making these for a while now, they're mega easy and you can make them out of small scraps of paper and waste from chipboard alphas.

    Scraps

I sabe all the little bits and pieces in a plastic container for Ava. She is 2 1/2, and when you give her a glue stick and the scraps she is busy for an hour, giving me time to work with the other two (Natalie 6 and jerik also 6 cousins not twins), on projects like melting chocolate chips to pour into molds shaped like feet and shells and so on. I will have to start saving the other materials to see what I can make. Lots of inspiration here.

Has any one tried to do anything with the plastic disk on the bottom of a stack of cds? It is put there to protect the bottom disk from scratching. I keep looking at them, maybe a wind chime?
