    oh well Should this happen?

When using Text in DM, all fonts and dingbats slope to the right, is this usual or is there a setting I have incorrectly set? Which one and how do I change it?

Sorry if I appear rude or ungrateful for not coming back before. I have been away for the week-end and this is the first opportunity I have had to get on the computer since I asked my question.
Thank you Lucille you had the solution to my problem. My text is now standing upright. I must have inadvertently changed the setting.

It might not have been your fault, that is one of the things I don't like about DM it keeps the settings of the last document you open, so you could have opened something even to look at and there you are up the creek.

Well thats a relief to know. I get scared of clicking buttons in case I wreck the settings and can't remember which button I clicked so I can correct my problem. The manuals are no good to me because I do't understand the jargon. Thank goodness for UKS and simple instructions.

yes thats what bugs me about dm too, if you open a template say from here that someonhas made in portraite, then next time you open dm you have a portraite view.

i work in landscape so it s so annoying.

Now I know what to look for, I won't sit here wondering what on earth I have done. I have noted my current settings and will check them before I start "designing". Wish it would revert to original settings though.
