Papercraft Inspirations has templates you can download from their webiste. There's probably a reindeer in there somewhere. Or look for reindeer colouring pages on the web, you should be able to convert them in inkscape.

I've got a reindeer template, it's in the Christmas 07 set and the complete animal set on this page, http://www.craftytemplates.co.uk/buydownloads.html scroll down a bit and you'll see them.
He makes a shaped card like this one but you can use him to make embellies too.

Wasn't that among the ones craftyfeeling suggested earlier? Must admit, I saw it and thought it was ideal for what yo described, but then that you were looking or something other than that, which had me stumped!!

Glad you found what you were looking for - and thanks for the post coz I'll be using it as well!

That sounds a little like you may be thinking of making reindeer cookies. If so, it would be very tedious cutting around a template, and it would be much easier to buy a cookie cutter like this (I'm sure there are loads of others around in cookware shops) - and you could also use it as a template IYKWIM.
