Fancy floral stencil aperture, line art topper/mat #1

I've just been passing time and found this ready made frame in the Floral Stencil font I found recently, it only needed the little bit in the middle deleted.

I've added a mat with a topper, if you don't want the topper to have an aperture, select it, release the path and delete the inside centre line, then select all and remake the path. The same for the floral frame in the front of the card, just select it and delete. It can all be resized for a larger card.

I've also, changed and grouped the cutlines into colour groups if anyone wants to use it as line art.

Floral Stencil card #2 (aperture, line art and topper)

I could churn these out by the truck load

This is using the Floral Stencil font again.

For no aperture, select inside cut line of design and delete, this also applies to the topper.

To use as a topper with the mat which is included in the file, select the designs on the card front and delete.

I haven't tried it, but you can also use the mat resized to make a card shaped like the floral design.

And lastly, I've designed it so it can be used for line art, newbies don't panic Studio doesn't care what colour the lines are it will cut what ever you tell it to.

    Swirly Butterfly Set

I made this set using 3 shapes from the Silhouette Library and used welding, resizeing and compound release.

It is very intricate but does cut. I have put extra butterflys on so you can layer them up to give the finish card dimension

Hope it inspires you to choose a few shapes and have a go

    Happy Crafting

    Frame, mat or both!

Another happy accident, while playing with replicate function.

Used Damask Dings to make a frame, but when I released the path to delete the titchy cut marks left behind by the weld, I only grabbed part of the design and found myself looking at what I thought were two rather nice looking mats, however I've left the original design in as well. They weren't made for any particular size card but can be easily resized and even used as nesting shapes.

I've welded a rectangle to the centre of the original design and found another nice frame hiding there.

Sorry another idea when I went to close the file. This is only a suggestion, if you put a smaller rectangle on the front of the mats and do Modify >> Subtract they make nice frames, as seen here.

This is the first file that I made using my wishblade with the silohouette software. I repeated the patteren in photoshop elements and then used the trace feature in the studio software. I am going to be using it as a background for a cover of a mini album. Id di do a cut and it cuts great. I thought I would share, because I have received so much from people on this board, that I wanted to give back. Hopefully someone will have some use for it.

SteamPunk (cogs and gears) rectangular frame

Here is a blokey frame, with nut holes I had to get one from the garage to make sure it had the right number of sides

It can be used as is, but I have included some gear wheels to add where ever you choose to add them, they aren't welded to each other, but can be if required, there is also a mat shadow mat if one is needed.

T&C of use are as stated at the top of the UKS Template forum

    Flourish Frame and Mat

I did this frame as a png file initially as I just wanted to print it on a card but then I decided it might be useful as a cutting file too. If anyone would like the png file you can download it from by blog - it has an embossed effect and I did it in 3 colours, black, gold and ruby.
