The first i heard of these albums was when Bad Girl & Pencil Lines DT girl Ania posted one of them on her blog - she was inspired in turn by the incredible Bibbis.
As Pam rightly said, they originated in Norway.
I had a go at doing one as well, as I adore unusual mini albums. You can either have a look on it in detail on my {project blog gallery} <- the book is pretty much at the end of the gallery but I have also attached a few images here
I've been chuckling away whilst reading this thread. Political correctness etc has gone a bit daft hasn't it. Great tip though Kathryn37 about putting them in the microwave.
I try to use cereal boxes but never thought about loo roll inners. How do you get them flat?
it's true that the Ofsted inspector told the preschool that they shouldn't use loo rolls or egg boxes due to potential health and safety issues. However the preschool ladies were far more sensible and the children were allowed to use them, just not when Ofsted came inspecting!
Becky is that true????I just think we are a world gone mad sometimes,as previously said how do we survive
I used to run a playgroup and we were told no loo rolls or eggboxes etc due to poor hygeine not knowing where they came from, also a few years ago the local schools were told no cake stalls for fund raising as they couldn't guarantee the cakes had been made in a clean environment!
mind you looking at some of the grubby kids you would wonder that yourself!
If you're worried about loo rolls just cut down kitchen rolls or the rolls used for tin foil cling film etc
