"Hold my hand grandad" poem

Morning all,

I swear I have read / heard a poem which goes something like "hold my hand grandad, keep me safe / warm" or something along those lines.

I've tried every google combination I can find but all I can find are quotes for funerals, and peoples blogs about dead grandparents, but my dad is still very much alive, and I just *need* this quote for a LO

Does anyone have any ideas, or may also have heard it somewhere and can assure me I am not bonkers on a sunday morning!?

It doesnt bother me Annette, someone said I was boring and had an opinion on everything, which is a tad rich seeing as I dont really post much on the proper forums, just my team threads.
But, if they want to smack me, fine, I hope it makes them happy.
you dont go through life looking like me and not develop a thick skin.

What a lovely poem ... I lost both my grandfathers in 1983 ... I was in Canada and they were both in Greece ... I had met my maternal Grandfather only for 2 summers ... [when we had visited Greece] and my paternal grandfather an extra trip since he visited in Canada ... so I'm going to use this and make a layout as a tribute to both of them!

As for the smack blog ... I don't bother with it, as I find it all a very teenage sort of bitterness!!! LOL
