    What does a stand off ring actually do? Allow you to cut thicker card?

    Stand-off ring

    I think it is only needed with the blue covered Craft Robo, the pressure is governed by the controls in the grey topped Robo Monster.

    They are for the original blue CraftRobo, they increase the cutting pressure I believe.
