    Lattice Tutorials - Inkscape .45/.46/.47

    Must have been someone breathing down my neck - but here's what I've come up with for Inkscape .
    This very basic tutorial is a fun and easy beginning - there are probably quicker ways of making a trellis but I found this gives the best results so far- and it gives us a reason to use the the Align and distribute functions!!

    So far I've done regular shapes like circles, rectangles, ovals etc and shown how you can use your shapes either as a topper or part of your design.

    Written for Inkscape version .45 but works for Inkscape .46/.47

    Create a Lattice Template and Ideas for Using It - Inkscape .46/.47

    This tutorial is a joint effort between Joyce aka 2Magpies and myself. This is not for cutting as is, it is simply a template to use for making lattice cards and embellishments.

    Video tutorial using this technique here

    In it you will learn the following functions;

    Using the Ctrl key to get a perfect shape
    Object > Transform (to rotate an object)
    Resizing from the tools control bar
    Rows and Columns
    Path Union (also know as welding)
    Duplicating
    Break Apart
    Aligning
