'Pretty' scrapping vs functional scrapping

I am the same as you normally tbh aswell. Although my latest 1 for a theatre tickets etc that i did here http://www.ukscrappers.co.uk/photopo...=28010&thumb=1 is as prettied up as i could really get it i think.
Mind you i think it helps the leaflet of the play having a not bad pic on it.

I also seem to do funtional lo as always use the photos I have as got lots rather than take them esp for a pretty lo
but whatever just enjoy no right and wrong really is there

I find I am more likely to scrap current stuff "pretty" & older pics "functional". I have recently been given hundreds of photos by my dad & partly in order to get through then & get them documented & probably partly because they aren't "my" memories I am doing much plainer los with them (case in point!) I don't have a problem with having both kinds of los, I'm happy that I'm able to scrap these memories for my kids

I do scrap in both styles, but try to hide tickets etc that don't look pretty in pockets or on tags hidden behind photos.
