    Creasing Board/Envelope Templates?

I wonder if you cardmakers could give me some advice?

I'm new to cardmaking and would like to buy a crease board and possibly envelope templates.

Have done a lot of searching and investigating on the web but am now totally confused as there is so much to choose from.

Have you any preferences and recommendations please?

Hi boo, I have a crafters companion purely because it is all on one board. I did look at envelope templates/scor pal but that would have taken up much more space. When I first had it my ruler was broken so the company replaced it free of charge, great service. I use mine all the time and I did buy a carry case for it but it doesnt stay in there long enough You can search the website and find the creator doing a video tutorial of the whole board.

    Thanks Natasha.

I located the tutorial, which I found fascinating and she made it look so easy. Here is a link in case anyone else is interested.

The only thing I didn't like about the companion was the sound of it! So clanky on that desk. But I can see your point about having everything in one box.

Boo, it is very clattery, and dare I say it but its worse in real life. I wouldnt use it as a work surface, its not steady enough for that (for me anyways). However its perfect for scoring cards then folding away. I got it while it was on offer at a sponsors site so I had quite a good deal. If however it wasnt as cheap as I had it I would have gone with the regular wooden boards you can buy

You might find you're better with just the top score board (one half of it), and maybe the enveloper separately

I really rate the Score pal, you can put a piece of 12 x 12 on it and away you go. I think its hard to find in the UK though. Im sure there are other UK equivalents to this which others will recommend.

I am hoping to find one that will use 12x12 paper for making envelopes so I can use up some of my supplies.

So the Score Pal is different to the Scor It? Not heard of the Score Pal before.

Ive just had a look via google and they are different!

Have a look at Score Pal via a search engine and then see what you think

Ah yes, have discovered the Scor-Pal website. Cool product, I like very much. Looks like I would be able to make everything with it and it takes 12x12.

Where's the best place to try and buy one Karen?
