    Have to admit, I have now bought some Cbug embossing folders tho they haven't arrived yet. Maybe I shd cancel my order!!!

    Does your embossing kit work with the CR Pro please? I've been getting mixed results with F.Foam and an ordinary stylus. I've found that a lot is down to the choice of material. Some pearlescent card I have appears to have a very strong plasticy ( is that a word?) covering and that doesn't work well, but I have some with a much softer feel and that works better. I'm assuming that with the right tools the results will be even better.

    I can't imagine that you will get better impressions with any thing other than the C.B. The downside is that you can't use your own designs. I like using cut up pieces of aluminium drinks cans in my C.B. The dies cut through it O.K and you get a great impression with the folders.

    Has anyone actually tried the shop bought embossing tools/system yet mentioned earlier in this thread - its a bit expensive with mat extra but if it does a good job then its worth it I reckon - does it?

    embossing with robo

    just received my new tools having a few problems no instructions the basic embossing tool both ends work but when it comes to changing them to the extra tools i purchased (larger) its too low in the holder and its embossing the lines leading to the project so my page is full of lines so far........I will let you know in a few days how I am getting on......Linda
