    Cuttlebug vs BigShot

    A small debate.
A friend of mine is new to crafting and would like a die cutter machine, I say Cuttlebug another friend says BigShot.

Oh and she doesnt want a computer/electric one.

Lets say what the voting says.

most major difference is the size. Cuttlebug can fold up but big shot is more sturdy in my eyes !!!! Other than that its what you like the look of.
i love my little sidekick too but it only cuts thin dies.
But my cricut is the best

Both machines can cut all brands of dies, but only the Big Shot can munch through chipboard (So I've been told)

I use my cuttlebug to cut chipboard all the time. It's not the machine it's the dies. The CB dies work great on chipboard! That's why I got mine. I don't see any sturdiness difference AT ALL! My friend has a Big Shot and I have my Cuttlebug and they both can do the same jobs. It's only a matter of size and space.

I voted BigShot because that's what I have and like. It cuts most anything and although it's not the lightest, it's not that bad. I don't lug it around much anyway.

However, I do like the looks of the Cuttlebug dies more than most of the BigShot ones, but they all work in my BigShot anyway.....
