im going on the sat which i no will be busier but the london marathon is the sunday!
however i am worried about the elbows, etc it was quite bad at harrogate last weekend

i'm going on the saturday with my sister, nikig, we are doing our daily elbow sharpening exercises every day, ready for the pushing and shoving.

Although the quietest day is Sunday, you might find a lot of the newer stuff is already sold out. A really nice quiet time is usually about 3:00 - 5:00pm on Saturday. The worst is about noon on Saturday. Personally I wish Ally Pally would go to a 3-day event (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) but I'm sure the vendors are happy to leave it as is .
